Online Community
The business has moved to working online following the challenges around the pandemic and this is predominantly how we work. Whilst we have an office in Leicester within De Montfort University, the team is based both in the UK and in other countries. Our success is based on trust and respect and our work ethic is centred on the Director’s wish for enabling TopCourses to thrive without limitations on traditional working practices.
Our Recruitment Process
We keep it simple. We need your CV and a covering letter explaining why you are applying and how you meet the objectives of the role. If shortlisted, there is an assignment related to the role you are applying for followed by an interview. The interview is designed for us to learn as much about you as possible, to know if you would be happy to work with us and whether you would be a good fit to an already inclusive team.

Salary: Base + Uncapped Commission + Bonus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Generate leads through content marketing via suitable platforms and channels.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will increase leads and sales.
- Engage in outreach activities, such as presenting at school/university talks, career events and university fairs (some travel required).
- Conduct consultations and academic assessments in a professional manner.
Service Delivery
- Advise students on education options in the UK and guide them through the application process.
- Collaborate with the document-editing team/tutors to ensure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of students’ applications to increase conversion rates and achieve expected enrolments targets, whilst providing a high standard of customer service throughout.
- Ensure that data is diligently and accurately entered/managed within TopCourses’ CRM system.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A good UK Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably from a Russell Group University.
- Working level of both English and Mandarin Chinese, with good understanding of Chinese customers’ buying behaviour
- At least 1 year of sales and/or marketing experience
- Professional communication skills with an ability to present information clearly and with confidence
- Self-motivated and results-orientated team-player that can work remotely
- Enthusiastic and passionate about the company’s services with a result-driven approach
